Brand New Language Content Launched
Languagenut, the professional language teaching support tool, will shortly be available to teach English as part of a new package of content on the Digital Classroom System (DCS).
The Languagenut tool includes interactive lessons, games and activities for students aged 5-14 years. English teaching is provided in over 80 support languages, and in a new development, this latest release will also deliver the English tuition in Ibo, Hausa and Swahili support languages.
Originally introduced in 2010, Languagenut is now an award-winning global language tool used by teachers in over 32 countries to teach more than 7,000,000 students.
Other content also available on the DCS includes:
Wikipedia: full Wikipedia database, providing DCS users with entire searchable Wikipedia content running offline, enabling access to 40 gigs of data and providing over 4.5 million searchable references.
Khan Academy: offers practice exercises and instructional videos. A learning resource for all ages, the programme covers science, maths, economics, computer programming, history, and more. It guides learners from kindergarten stage early maths to calculus, using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps.
Digisoft Education: comprehensive HMH maths and English content based on the American K12 system. It provides hundreds of hours of content for ages 4 to 16 and includes work sheets, which teachers can print out and use with each class. The content is fully interactive, allowing the pupils to answer questions by dragging, dropping, or clicking content.
